You know when you go to the fitting room of a store, and the person just inside the door asks you how many pieces of clothing you have, and you give them a number. Then he/she hands you over a piece of plastic with that number and you’re supposed to hang it outside your door. What is the purpose of that number? What do you do with it when you’re done trying on your clothes. Do you leave it hanging? What do you do with clothes when you’re done trying them on, leave them inside the cubicle or give it to the person at the desk?
Yesterday I went to a store to try on clothes, and they had curtains instead of a door. But she still gave me the card. I hung it inside =/
i guess the hanging thing has no real purpose in my eyes except knowing that the fitting room is occupied and not to walk in on someone.. i leave it hanging and the clothes i just leave with the fitting room lady ..
The hanging thing has a number on it which is the number of clothes you took into the fitting room so they know you're not stealing clothes in the fitting room! afterwards you give the hanging thing and the clothes you don't want to the assistant?
lol this reminds me of when i was in charge of changes rooms at a Hugo boss store. You were given a badge like if you were trying on 4 clothes for example you would get a number 4 badge and it went upto 7. A guy came in and wanted to try on 8. And everybody was freaking out! I was like "relax everyone, ive got this under control"
Do you hand the clothes over? Sometimes I just let them hang in the fitting room…and leave the number at the door. Sometimes I take the clothes with me. Sometimes I give them over to the assistant.
Yeah what would you do if you want to try on a LOT of clothes. I’ve noticed some stores have a limit or something. So weird.
