When Imran/CJ iftikhar was in full USA was very uncomfortable. It looked like(at that point) that pakistan would release it self from army/usa/crupption And would become a strong would country like Iran. USA can't handle that kind of pakistan and having pakistan's it hand dirty in al-qaida thing -USA will use that excuse to reduce pakistan strength.

From which angle is Iran a strong country. Have you ever been to Iran and seen poverty of the common people and heavy pockets of the ruling religious elite? The only thing which is keeping a revolution away is probably the heavily subsidized price of oil in Iran, which is indirectly keeping the prices of other commodities in check.
