Peace All
Over the past month there have been 36 earthquakes around the world which hit at least 6.0 or above on the Richter Scale. The scale is exponential not linear so for example the difference between 7.0 to 7.2 is equal to the difference between 5.0 to 6.0.
Below I have reproduced those 36 earthquakes’ event data. Sorting the highest from the lowest above 6.0 … As can be seen Solomon Islands are a regular feature … The recent event, yesterday, in Iran has not been that strong for 40 years - earlier in February an even harder earthquake hit the Solomon Islands.
I remember only 12 years ago there were may be 5 or 6 strong to major earthquakes happening in a month. I thought that was a lot then.

Lists of earthquakes - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
If you look and analyse that data - you will see there is a clear rise in intensity and frequency of major earthquakes over recorded history. The trends show a very loose standard deviation, but an accelerating growth profile of about average 0.1 on the Richter Scale every 50 years per 50 years.
1430 years ago this rise had been forecast in the Holy Qur’an … we are moving closer and closer to the point when the Earth will be shaken to her utmost convulsion … Surah 99.
