Ok…it’s almost a month now, and I am literally about to tear my scalp off.
Ever since the weather really changed, from warm to frikkin cold, it itches. Like crazy. And no, I’m not being unhygienic. It itches right after washing my hair. When my hair dries. 24 hours after drying. Next day, and when I wash it again. I don’t think it’s dry. And it’s not like the front part of my head too. It’s the back. All the way down to the hairline. I’ve done the whole tayle thing a couple of times. Didn’t work on my scalp, did my hair wonders. I’ve changed my shampoo. Conditioner not yet, though I have cut back on it a bit. (I’m thinking it’s the type of conditioner I’m using ) I dunno what to do.
Either its the type of shampoo that you are using or your diet thats causing the itiching. Go to a good doctor instead of asking people around here. The reason why I am saying this is 'cuz you have been facing the problem for over a month now, which isn’t good. The doctor will definitly recommend a medicated shampoo or oil.
(i hope its not the excess push-ups thats causing the burning sensation in your scalp…j/k) feel better
Like i said before, i changed my shampoo to one that is like normalish for my hair. Well, to be honest, there are like now 3 bottles of shampoo sitting in my washroom.
Err…so a derm it is then? nothing I can do at home?
Khumar, Head and Shoulders is not a mild shampoo. Eisay tow there are countless desi nuskhas, for e.g, put yoghurt or apply the egg white. You ask me and I can send you a list of oils that should be used for different problems inflicting the hair and scalp. You must consult a doctor :)
yeah when I was down in London I found something yucky in my hair right after I took a shower. It looked like a booger. And I know it can't be mine because I know how my boogers look like. Recycled water, huh!
M_M: no i didn’t move. I’ve stayed put in my area, in my room for these past couple of years. I don’t think the water changed. I think it’s the weather.
minerva: no i’m not using them all. like i said, i changed them. So i used one, didn’t work, got another one, didn’t work. That kinda deal.
sigh i guess i have consult a doc if this thing doesn’t clear up. More things to add to during my winter break.
it's a combination of weather and your diet.
as the weather gets cooler we tend to reduce the amount of liquids we ingest.
try drinking extra water for a few days.....
Did you change the shampoo after the itching started or before it started?
maybe it’s just a bad reaction to the new shampoo so try to see how it is with your old brand of shampoo:confused:…but still I think if it’s really out of control then you should see a dermatologist. It’s not a question you can ask here since we really can’t see exactly what the problem is so a family member or better yet a doctor is the one to ask.
