Why not Rome Venice AND Florence? How many days do you have? Anyway the pecking order is Rome, Venice, Florence.
Enjoy.
Ciao.
Finally..a reply
thanks chick
i only have 4 days, and can only chose 1 city as ppl i am travelling with are idiots and dnt have much time off as i do!!
have u been?
Well:
a) dump those who have only 4 days for Italy
b) Do Rome AND Venice in 4 days.
Take an early morning train to Venice from Rome, walk around for 6 -7 hours and take the train back, getting to Rome a little before midnight. That gives you 3 days in Rome.
Have fun.
Dont make a mistake giving one day to Venice. Go to Roma this time for 4 days & if u get a chance again, go to Venice .. u need at least three to four days to see the beauty of Venice.

no can do chick..i can only go once..and im meant to feel previlaged that im being allowed to travel 100 miles outside my own home!!
anyway..the idiots im going with are driving so i cant leave them..i think we'r definatly going to Rome
be careful with ur stuff. italy is known for its thieves. especially at the airports. my uncle recently got robbed last week, and i know tons of other people who have experienced the same.
Thanks chick..im always careful with me stuff.....i used to live in london..u kinda learn that carrying a personal alarm and pepper spray is better than lipgloss and chewing gum!
Rome,
However we did rome in 2-3 days...if you feel like you are getting bored with rome and/or have seen it all then you can easily take a train up to venice and do venice in one day....do stay overnight in venice if you can..it's gorgeous!
Re: italy
1 day in rome and 3 in florence.
