If there is one thing that really annoys me it is when someone makes an error and then when someone gets angry they think they dont deserve the bollocking because they didnt mean to do it…somehow they arent accountable because they didnt mean to do it…
What these idiots dont realise is that the damage is still done…lol somehow i dont think those that run over a kid do it on piurpose but its no consolation that you didnt mean it…the damage is done and its because of you and therefore you are accountable…
Accountability is judged on effects of your action not what you tried to do…

Maybe im being a baby about things but someone broke my camera when they were careless enough to drop it...the answer was i didnt mean to and for some strange reason they seemed to think that would make a difference to how annoyed i was about the loss of a 200 pound camera...

sometimes accidents happen, like a spill or a broken dish or dropped food..as long as the mess is cleaned up and there's no seroius damage/loss and nobody is hurt i don't see any reason why one has to be so mean abt it..Unfortunately you can't do anything but just chalk it up to experience and bad timing/luck... if there is smeone that u can absolutely NOT trust your things iwht no matter what then keep ur sht away from em...Most of my friends, ill let them use my camera and stuff, nobody's ever dropped it, they're extremely careful with my stuff even if they're not careful wiht thier own things..

Heres the thing though...it doesnt actually make a difference whether you mean it or not...the damage is done...if your careless i will screw at you...like the more extreme example a guy breaks late and kills a kid his crime is not his intention but just the fact that hes an unco-ordinated idiot...fact is though the damage is the same whether someone means it or not...
Obviously you will be more angry when someone does something deliberately to annoy you...but 99% of things that go wrong are accidents and it doesnt detract from the fact that accident are careless errors which get punished...imagine if you worked in a bank and got a zero wrong when you made a transfer wrong and lost a broker a million dollar deal i dont think im sorry i didnt mean it would be any consolation some how...

I know this family where the parents cover up for their misbehaving children by saying "it was an accident". The kids could be hitting other children but it's always by accident. Now someone explain to me how a delibrate slap is an accident?????

not accepting accidents is nothing, My boss had a hell of an attitude & she always said it's just me I can't change it. I resigned in few weeks & I was the fourth one doing so. She is not with the company anymore (don't know if she got fired or left.

I would be more annoyed obviously...thing is the person that broke it thought they didnt deserve the bollocking cos they didnt mean it...they are still responsible for breaking the camera and i have a right to be pissed off accident or no accident...
Accident has me screwing...deliberate means a lot worse...
