I think they should be trained in more world class colleges to get faster employment.

K ji, I believe it's not about students being trained in world class institutions , it's about global economic meltdown in the IT sector. Even in the U.S., where fresh graduaes were once getting jobs in a blink of an eye, are now facing huge hurdles. Hopefully, the situation will get better( keeping our fingers crossed ).

I agree:- http://www.wired.com/news/culture/0,1284,40018,00.html And this is during good times.

forget IT students in Pakistan, anyone keeping tabson number of H1B workers being sent back?

With stiffer limits coming on H1B workers, many other techies will face issues.

There is a thriving culture back home of techies who had to go back from here. If they are encouraged to utilize their knowledge to start something there it could be worthwhile.

so far the focus has been on exporting the talent, with the reduction in jobs overseas, we should see some enterpreneurship and possible projects for internal pakistan consumption, which is what would move both the country and the IT market forward.

health industry jobs are always secure
eventhough pay is less. you cant turn away
or refuse to treat sick people.

health industry or health industry IT?
if you mean the first one I agree for the latter one I have reasons to differ.
