how about these American sayings? "truth will set you free" "honesty is the best policy" "Give a man a fish, he will eat for a day but TEACH him to fish and he will eat for a lifetime" "a bird in the hand is better than a dozen in the bush" "slap me once, shame on you - slap me twice, shame on ME"
I mean, come on, if i spoke urdu and lived over in Pak, I could come up with good sayings and bad sayings all the day long.
and dopey, the saying goes "A GOOD offense is better than a good defense" (ie., better to attack than to defend)
"truth will set you free" ... ask iraqis/afghanis, they are being freed in bulks.
"honesty is the best policy"...not when foreign policy doesn't like it
"fish fish ... doesn't rely apply to Americans at all.
"bird and bush" ... go figure.

MIGHT IS RIGHT. Americans are doing all this bcos
1 - they know they can do it
2 - and can get away with it
3 - they can always justify any act of theirs.
