Re: It makes me cry...
I was never the "crying" kind, but last night in my bed, I started to think about the whole situation in Pakistan. The politics, the madness, the corruption, the people, and sorry state of our country and I couldn't help but cry,
....
First I suggest cut down on onions please. They tend to bring more "ansoo" than are necessary.
Second! We are alive and well and doing just fine. So if you really want to cry, then cry on the issues that are impacting you daily. Unless Pakistan is begging you to pay money from your $$$ (assuming you are not living on dad's bank, or siphoning off public welfare check somewhere), or Pakistan asks you to part with some food from your dinner plate, or Pakistan is taking the tires away from your borrowed car, etc. keep your ansoon reserved for some "special" occasions. Will ya?
If you want to attend rallies, then pick the rallies who shout at the would be 7/7 or 9/11 Arab or Arabized Pakistani bombers. Pick some rallies that complain about profiling of Arab looking Pakistanis who had nothing to do with dastardly acts of terrorism. OK?
And leave Pakistan alone, unless you want to come back and do something positive like teaching in a government school, or cleaning up your street.
Thank you!
