It's not as bad in Pakistan as media shows you guys. If you ask common Pakistani about all these developments then they would surely reply, "what emergency?". Nothing has stopped in Pakistan and life is quite a same as it was before emergency. If you want to save some tears then stop watching GEO
You are right to an extent, the life doesn't stop for a common person, after all he is already struggling to bring dinner on his table. He can't afford to stop, luckily or unluckily there are no street demos called by political parties which usually ransacks a city halting life to a crawl.
But that doesn't mean we shouldn't be in a mourning state. There are people who are worried for life, there are people who are worried for next meal, there are people who are happy that they can put more $$$ in their pockets than ever before, there are people who don't care about politics (have given hope on the society/govt/country) but there are people who care about country even if they are disgusted/disappointed by politicians/military/govt etc. I am sure there are many other types as well. Its upto you to decide which kind you want to join.
