forever to read and finish chapters 
mai kya keron. i’m not even a slow reader. the material is so dense and time consuming. how can I change this

My husband was in the same situation as you. So I recorded all the chapters with voice recorder and now he listens to them on his journey to work in the car!
Maybe you can also ask someone to record it for you and you can listen to it whenever you are travelling or something.

a speed reading course can do wonders for some people. I've had some graduate students take these courses and they certainly have had a positive experience. Also, if you're just getting started, give it a little more time. Eventually, you'll start to get the feel for parts of the material that you can skim over and other parts that require more attention.

no i've been doing this for a while, but I just feel like I need to read and understand every word..and I also feel like speed reading won't help me grasp the concepts? It's just the idea that they can pick up any little piece of info from the text and turn it into a question. And what if that's the info I skip :(

IMO, that need to read & understand "every" word is indicative of someone who has just gotten started with a heavy reading load. I've done my fair share of heavy academic reading over the past ten years and have gotten used to identifying the core from the fluff. This comes with experience and a speed-reading course can certainly help.
