I hate you Some1 :( ! To be honest, you guys never played us when we had big guns in our side during the 90's (Wasim, Waqar, Anwar, Malik). Ab team ki haalat kharab hai to har roz series khelne keliye ready hojatay ho.

^Well...24 years may seem like a long time...but I think there was probably not more than 4 ODI series played between the two teams in India during this period.
Remember that India-Pak played very little cricket between themselves during most of the 90s.
So let me see :
Series 1 => The one that featured Salim Malik's heroics in Calcutta Series 2 => This one I vaguely remember Sadanand Vishwanath was our Wicket Keeper (we also lost the low-scoring Bangalore test narrowly despite Gavaskar's brilliant batting) Series 3 => Akram I believe was Pak's captain....Shoaib Akhtar's debut series in India. Series 4 => The last one with Afridi's heroics in Kanpur and Delhi. Pak won 4-2.

^Just so you keep in mind brother....that the last two ODI series in Pakistan were also won by India.
But I do agree with the_game bhai, India did not play Pakistan much (except in multilateral tournaments) when Pakistan were pretty strong as a team.

Kal kee baat choro.....Aaj ki baat karo aur hamare saath nachlo....When India beat PAk in the first ODI....most of the pakis guppies said they were busy with the political situation but when Pak beat India on Diwali eve, all the guppies got pulled in that thread like honeybees....tab paki political situation gaya bharh mein...........Now that India seals the series, and nobody is interested in Cricket any more.

Yea, only a Pakistani site would allow Indians to celebrate not vice versa. That speaks for itself.
I agree with the Game, now that Pakistan doesn't have superstars in the team, lets get ready for a lot of India/Pak matches. Even Sharjah would be acceptable to Indians now.

Relax guys. Those who are celebrating should do it gracefully. India no dount have outclassed us. They are having a similar winning streak again us which we had against them in 2005 season.
And those who are mourning, should also do it gracefully. Accept the fact that they were better than us.

I accept totally that a Pak fan celebrating on an Indian forum would be close to "unimaginable". That has something to do with the overwhelming number of mental retards (as % of our huge population) who are online.
You have to read the comments section of various stories on Rediff to understand what I mean.

The broad-mindedness and tolerance I see on GS is the reason why I have been here for over 8 years.
I accept totally that a Pak fan celebrating on an Indian forum would be close to "unimaginable". That has something to do with the overwhelming number of mental retards (as % of our huge population) who are online.

Totally agreed! I have been around for a few years and barring a couple of occasions , I always had a lot of respect for the broad-mindedness of Mods and posters in general.
Here we get Moin-ul-atiq and Anil Khan types ones in a year and that very well falls out of the two times sigma squared of any normal distribution ;-)

Anyways during your 'W', superstar times also we defeated you every four years during the WC......Jab chance milta tha to kahan chale jaatey they aapke Heros..........I am not saying that the Pakis team were weaker than the Indians lekin WC ke stats show something different.

For me the ''meaningful '' stats means stats . Otherwise u guys have a serious problem in accpeting Tendulkar's greatness .So have a consistency when talk about statistics .

Well done India on a highly deserved victory. But I do hope this doesn't become another reason for dumping millions on the cricketers.
As to broad-mindedness I did feel a bit surprised that there are a number of Indian supporters here but I guess the admins know it is needed to keep things interesting. Otherwise if it is only Pakistanis won't the forums become boring?
