It is not working.

The save edit button is not working . You have to go to advanced mode to save.
This is so annoying. Mairay paisay wapis karain jee.

Re: It is not working.

Hi Mirch,

The "save" button [when you edit] is working...it's just that, for some reason, the page does not automatically refresh when you click save. If you press F5, you'll notice that once the page has refreshed, your post will have been updated.

Try that workaround and let us know if it works. :)

This behaviour has already been reported and the admin are looking into it.

Re: It is not working.

I am sick and tired of workarounds. :naraz:
I have to deal with workarounds all day at my job and now you at GS are giving me a runaround too. Let me know when it is fixed. Till then I will do it the old fashioned way.

Re: It is not working.

How come ‘post quickly’ refreshes the browser but not ‘save’ button???

There are people who end up posting same post twice (even Mods and the President) because probably they get frustrated in waiting and click ‘save’ twice.

Yes I get the point the first time. But it is fun to read the same post again. :hehe:

Re: It is not working.

Mirch Sahib can you tell me how I can get the olf fashioned GS view again!

On computer that has Windows 7, when I try to post a new thread typing window in GS extends way past the computer screen, there by putting the submit botton out of reach, actually can not even type anything in “New Post”?
What is happening?

Re: It is not working.

We’re not posting twice on purpose. :naraz: It’s actually been identified as an issue with Google Chrome…so if you’re using that browser, you may be affected by the double posting jinn.

Which web browser are you using? Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome..??? Please try a different one and report back if you get the same result.

Re: It is not working.

Yes you are. You just want to be heard again. :stuck_out_tongue:

It happens with all browsers. “Post Quick Reply” refreshes any browser that I know. “Save” button does not. So it needs manual refreshing as suggested above.
