About time! As much as I’m strongly against wars and absolutely dont like Trump for many reasons, I fully support this action and admire Trump for that. The attack is on the syrian base so there is very slim chance of civilian causalities which achieves the target.

^ Dhoti Ji Assad has done this atrocity before also in 2013 during Obama’s Raj…Obama drew a line against this kind of act, but then erased it himself after Assad’s chemical attack!

In 2013 they never did find evidence that Assad used chemical weapons (they strongly believe he did but no evidence), but they did find evidence of Syrian rebels using it, according to independent UN Prosecutor Carla de ponte. Even this time, its one government word against the other. It doesnt make sense for Assad to use chemical weapons and commit suicide when things were going his way.
Remember, leading up to Iraq, they had to convince people by saying we are invading Iraq because Saddam had WMDs, turned out to be a lie… mainstream recite the neocon fodder over and over again until plebs buy into it

while it is a logical point, Assad regime also has a history of committing many other heinous war crimes against civilians. for Assad, it seems to be a personal issue now and he wants to punish everyone really bad who is in another camp.
i have always supported to work with Assad and Russia to eliminate al Qaeda and ISIS but enough is enough and Assad and Russia needed a strong message. They can’t commit such heinous crimes against poor civilians. hey Putin, you are nothing but a piece of crap with a thug regime and you are not a super power and hey assad, you need to control yourself. I think Trump’s strike has delivered these messages. it has hit Putin so hard where it will hurt him the most, his inflated EGO. what will Putin the mafia leader do next? if he does not react, he will lose face and will be ridiculed and if he reacts militarily, it may involve the US even more.

Assad is as innocent as the rebels who were initially touted as freedom fighters by the West and everyone. Most of these rebels later turned out to be IS fighters and sympathisers.
IS needs to be eliminated for the sake of humanity but Assad went too far and not for the first time

Yeah, like everyone who admired Bush jr. for going after Saddam, the gasser of kurds. Except Bush never tweeted or talked about his aim in Iraq being taking all the oil as war compensation. Trump is on record multiple times claiming that is what his aim is in Syria and Iraq, both before and after being elected. Assad may be evil, but cheering on Trump’s murican cowboy war attempts is plain dumb.
Also, Trump calls and warns Russia two hours before missile strikes helps them fly out all their planes and evacuate people from the airstrip. Less than 24 hrs later, Assad’s pilots flying jets out of same airfield. Exactly what did Trump achieve here besides media manipulation?

No I think his strike and Bush’s are different.
But yes we all know that Mr. T is a Conartist. Those who doubt it probably watch Fox news and can only gain my sympathies. So there could be a catch.
But still this one was much needed. If it stops Bashar from using further chemical attacks, I’m down for it.
Since I try not jumping to conclusion, next few days are very important. If he doesnt go any further against Bashar then its simply a drama. And if he goes like the way he said, then it means something.
