May be it aint hate. you just feelin it 
What you are going through is quite common. From here onward you have to take one of two paths. One is to get negative and the other one is to be positive. Being negative, you can blame your looks, your job, your city, your friends, etc. and go down a negative spiral. Being positive however, you can develop an understanding about your situation and yourself.
I suggest you try to understand and problem-solve your way out of your current situation. Odds are stacked worse for some men than others, but one should try to improve their situation nonetheless. I believe a woman completes a man and without her we are incomplete. But the search should not mess up your priorities in life.

Now this is a real chin scratcher.
Nobody is ugly. We all our beautiful in unique ways and it takes the right person to see through this. What we focus on, grows. If you focus on your flaws, they'll only worsen. If you accept yourself and be grateful for what you have, you'll be happier and more content. Happiness and positivity attracts the right people.
Also, we all must continue working on ourselves as there's always room for improvements. Work on whatever aspect you think is standing in your way without being too critical of yourself. Don't put yourself down, but nourish yourself into a better version.
Meanwhile, keep faith and don't let your self esteem stoop. Tell yourself you are enough and you are beautiful in your own way. Good self esteem and confidence are key to better relationships with yourself and others.
