It’s interesting that when I opened a thread with this name most of the people who came were girls :hoonh:

Interesting insight into the female mind :snooty:

Re: It feels so wrong, so nasty, so dirty…

See Hafsa… even the anti-doze is capitalized… £20,000 is sheer rip off. :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: It feels so wrong, so nasty, so dirty....

Don't bash the English accent... it rocks - you only wish you could speak it..

Re: It feels so wrong, so nasty, so dirty…

Re: It feels so wrong, so nasty, so dirty…

no…we’re just faster on the uptake :snooty:

Re: It feels so wrong, so nasty, so dirty…

I said Americans are annoying, not Canadians :snooty:

Plus when I have enough of this North American madness, I just go downstairs and talk to some of the French Canadians. With their accents I can pretend that I’m back in Europe

Re: It feels so wrong, so nasty, so dirty…

for lifetime protection £20,000 is nothing.

I mean imagine if u did catch the yanky disease…some of its symtoms include the accent…and if u had that accent here in Britain…everyone would make fun of you. and no1 would have any respect for you. hence its a very cheap price to pay for so much. shall I order one for you then ?

Re: It feels so wrong, so nasty, so dirty…

I came cause I saw Hafsa there, so thought maybe interesting…then i saw you there too so thought 2 reasons to be interesting…then an excuse to say I don’t like brit accent…so here i am again and again…

Re: It feels so wrong, so nasty, so dirty…

I know what you mean bro…

My Word is set to UK English…

Colour, favour, flavour, savour e.t.c., all misspelled in the US…

Re: It feels so wrong, so nasty, so dirty…

You know, I have a terrible and shocking secret.

I was infected with the Yankee virus as a child and it’s permanently weakened me :frowning:

I first learnt english at the American school I went to in Saudi Arabia, in fact because I was surrounded by Americans all the time I though that i was American until I was 6 years old!!!

When I moved to England I had an American accent that took me 5 years to lose… and over here it’s really really coming back fast :crying:

The funny thing though is that when I talk to people in this country I talk in my American voice. When I phone my friends back in London, I suddenly drop 100% into my London accent

I mean, i can be talking to one friend in Canada and be really rolling my letter “r” like americans do, but then after that I’ll phone london and my “r” will be so soft that it’s barely noticeable (i.e the correct way).

Freaky!!!
