Actually, it does. India has a long way to go. Just because we have won couple of Medals doesn't mean this is the end. Actually this should be the beginning, India still needs to do well in Asiads, olympics etc...
With sports academies on the rise, with corporations backing individuals and teams, Indians have started performing better in international sports arena. The coming decades will see the domination of India in many sports, in Asiad and Olympics as well.
Nonsense. Is is you Hindoos that are bragging about an insignificant tournament, not us Pakistanis. It is you who is proud about being beaten by countries that are not even 1/10 the size of India (pop wise).
And for the author of this thread..‘it doesn’t get better’?..do you not know what 2nd and 1st place are?
Will India lose its third position at Commonwealth Games?
Manchester, Aug 6 Will India be pushed down to the fourth position below Australia and England with Canada occupying the third position at the Commonwealth Games medals tally? If the Commonwealth Games Federation has its way then such a scenario looks quite possible. In a shocking dampner to the celebrations over its stupendous performance at the Games, India faced the danger of slipping from its unprecedented third position in the medals tally with yet another weightlifter failing the dope test.Lifter Satheesha Rai, who won two gold and one bronze in the Games, has tested positive for a stimulant, according to ASV Prasad, Director of Indian Olympic Association. The Commonwealth Games Federation has made no official announcement about Rai so far. The Indians will certainly appeal. If Rai is stripped of his medals, India’s original haul of 32 golds will be reduced to 30, one less than Canada who will then climb to the third position behind Australia and England in the medals tally.

U r rite, Congatulations to the indian friends. Well it is very important to develop a sports culture n ultimately an sporting nation.like Asutralia n china r doing. They r really emerging as sports super powers.India should do the same by making academies .
Sports is a very important aspact of life on which we r not focusing. It gives way to the positive use of the potentail energy in the youth, other wise it got drained in fighthing etc
We pakistanis should also do the same thing.
