From an unknown weather girl to a pseudo first lady of a nuclear armed country through marrying one of the most iconic athletes in the world and one the most loved publics figure in his country - yes, she could’ve married any man.
I find it funny how some Pakistanis try to paint her as British Royalty who decided do a favour on Pakistan by marrying one of its citizens.
Speaking of British Royalty, I am pretty certain if Imran wasn’t married to Jemima, even Lady Diana would’ve tried her luck with him. You can have all sorts of issues with Imran’s politics, but please don’t try to undermine his larger than life fame and name which he earned outside of politics. It just makes you look opportunistically biased.

I guess it means she could’ve married ‘any’ multi billionaires like Zardari or Shahbaz Sharif to become one of their many wives, but poor her decided to marry Imram Khan and became a celebrity. I’m pretty sure country’s youth would not be swooning over her as ‘national bhabi’ had she married Mr Mansha or Shahbaz Sharif. LOL

Trust me, there are plenty of things about Reham Khan that one may find quite annoying, but let’s start to move away from that backward mentality of objectifying women and going after their sexuality to put them in their place. It was not right when PMLN and Mullahs led a salacious campaign against Benezir over her University days, and it’s certainly not right for PPP fans to repeat the same thing against another opponent. Ironically, this is the party that claims to be ‘liberal’ and against religious extremism.
There are certain types of Pakistan men who are taught to feel ‘lucky’ when a pretty looking woman pays any attention to them, but I doubt someone like Imran is one of those types. 99% of Brits probably have no idea who Reham Khan is or remembers her face whereas Imran till date is still one of the most globally recognized Pakistani. Considering his network in British elite, just like last time, he could’ve once again married someone from British aristocracy or perhaps like Clooney and many British politicians, he could’ve married a top notch Human Rights lawyer or a Barrister. So the whole colonial mentality of how Pakistanis are not good enough for glorious ‘foreigners’ is ridiculous and patronising.
It’s a shame that in Pakistan, TV hosts and anchors are considered the new intellectuals. It’s really sad.

So right when PTIans were storming social media of how much personal sacrifices IK is giving for the sake of country by living the most painful life in container, he was venting his frustration of not getting resignation by proposing Reham at the same time!!! but telling a woman that “Hey i am considering to do isthkara to **determine **if you are a good fit for me” without ever proposing her is absolutely male chauvinism which most of desi males possess…so basically khan presumed that she will marry me anyway, so let me just her check compatibility and fate with me via isthikara
and this man Khan has supposedly spent most of his life in a western society where this behavior is not acceptable at all..

now she is living in Pakistan and she respects our cultutal values and dresses up very nicely. had she worn a minin skirt in pakistan, i could understand the criticism.
