So recently I have switched to organic milk but having a hard time adjusting to it. Whenever I heat the milk for 30 seconds to mix my chocolate, precipitates form on the milk. They stick to my cereal and I can also see ghee from those malai precipitates on the milk. It reminds me of the yucky milk they have in Pakistan. It also smells like malai wala milk…![]()
So anyway, how can I get rid of this problem without switching back to inorganic milk?
Re: Issues with Organic Milk....
My mom just randomly decided to switch to organic milk.. so now we have low fat organic, 2 percent organic and basically everything organic. The other night I noticed the pakistani type taste for the first time and my sister assured me thats how organic milks taste.. I just think it was the brand. Previously whatever brand we had tasted different than the one now.. have you tried switching them? Maybe another one wouldn't be like that? I am yet to see the malai stuff.. I don't warm milk ever.. always drink it cold.
Re: Issues with Organic Milk....
Shay, I can't finish the brand I have :(
It is just hard to mix chocolate powder/ovaltine/hotchocolate in cold milk. So I just add the chocolate in little milk and warm it for 30 sec for the chocolate to mix, then i add cold milk and then my cereals.
Re: Issues with Organic Milk....
LUSI i had the same issue with organic milk...i once tried making the typical desi version of tea, doodh pattee type, for some guests and organic was all i had at that time...and in the end it had so many precipitates....and the pot i was making tea in was kinda burnt....
that was the first and last time i used organic milk...:(

Then you should switch to regular milk..
