Shaheed - Isreal stands out in its economic performance, compared to it’s region. Militarily, we know its strong.
Pakistan may have a strong army, but without the economic power it would falter in a couple of weeks of full scale war.

I confess, my hidden agenda, is to make Pakistan realise the futility of trying to continue to believe that they can crush India & wrest Kashmir.
I want both the countries to bury the hatchet (freeze the Kashmir issue), and start concentrating on their economic & social indicators.

my wish - the only (logical) solution possible is the one I have mentioned.
Freeze the Kashmir problem - let the future generations sort it out. In the meantime lets concentrate on becoming economically strong.
We both have the bomb, so lets stop kidding ourselves we can wrest Kashmir from each other. It can only be a negotiated process.

What do you think are the strategic issues, which have lead to this state of affairs.
I could be wrong here (please let me know if I am wrong, I do not want to be judgmental here), but after reading different posts in this forum, I think the main difference could be that an Israeli citizen is first Israeli and then a Jew, while a Pakistani is first a Muslim and then a Pakistani.
