Re: Israel's bleak economy spurs reverse aliyah -- to U.S.
I am putting two and two together, but still I dont understand one thing. Israel has been in existense for the past 50 years and arabs have been controlling the oil taps for the last 50 years. My question to you is
Why is Israel still in existance..
Do the arabs have
1) An ulterior motive so that they can watch somebody else $crewing the palestinians which they would have been unable to do if Israel did not exist
No the Arabs launched 2 Wars to destroy Israel, in 1948 and 1967 and both times they were throughly defeated.
Both of those wars were racist in Nature as the Israeli enemy was characterized as a hedious demonic horde akin to the worst propaganda done by the Nazis.
2) Are Arabs that idiotic that they dont know that they control the key to the world economics
United States didn't support Israel until 1973. The chief backers of Israel were the USSR, UK and France. USSR supported Israel until the early 1950's when it switched sides and started backing the Arabs due to Egypt supporting Algerians fighting France for its freedom and the Suez War of 1956 in which Israel, England and France fought Egypt to take control of the Suez Canal.
And thus the enemy of my enemy is my friend and so, USSR started supporting the Arabs.
Iran was a major friend to the Israelis until the revolution of 1979. Most of Israel's oil came from Iran. After Iran, Israel got its oil from Venezuela, Nigeria and USSR.
Even today, Israel is a leader in finding an alternative source of fuel and Israel is using synthetic oil created from vegetables and plastics and feces.
The remainder of its oil comes from Romania and Russia.

Seminole, Nope... get your facts straight. Read up on Ben-Gurion and see what he thought of the arabs/palestanians living in that area. Study how he displaced those people and occupied their land by force.

No, they are occupied because they are Palestinian and Arab.
they are occupied because Arabs launched 2 wars against Israel in 1948 which caused Israel to expand from its mostly Jewish majority areas to Palestinian areas causing the Palestinian refugee problem
And in 1967, when Arabs launched another war on Israel, causing Israel to take over West Bank and Gaza Strip and the Palestinians coming under occupation
Re: Israel's bleak economy spurs reverse aliyah -- to U.S.
more then just failing economics is needed, other encouragement is needed. push em out to argentina, its a long swim but hey we'll just tell em theres some innocents there waiting to be persecuted. that should be enough motivation for them to cross the pond.

**Longtime English-speaking immigrants slipped out of the country, victims of Israel's deepening recession and steep national budget cuts.
In fact, a new report suggests that **one-quarter of the North Americans who have immigrated to Israel since 1989 have since left the country.
The findings, compiled by the Israeli daily Ha'aretz, estimate that more than 25 percent of Canadians and 22.5 percent of Americans have left Israel, based on Interior Ministry statistics.

Interesting stats. It appears that Jews are losing the will power to stay in the "promised land" and emigrating back to the safe, wealthy abodes in the west.
