I won’t deny that organised religion has played it’s part in many crimes over the centuries because it has. But what about instances like the two world wars? As far as I’m aware Hitler didn’t do what he did in the name of any organised relgion I’m aware of.
It’s easy to blame religion, but that’s like blaming the communist theory for what Stalin did in The Purges. It all boils down to how religion is interpreted by us, this allows it to be used and abused for selfish interests. That’s the problem.
That pretty much sums it all up.
