Laura Bush went to Israel for a few days and visited the holy sites. While visiting she was heckled both by Jews and Muslims. While I can understand the grudge that Muslims have over prisoner abuse, illegal war in Iraq, Koran Desecration etc, hence the muslim hecklers. I cant understand the love affair of Jews with Jonathan Pollard. The guy is an American of Jewish faith that spied against US. Why should he be treated any differently than any other spy that US may have in custody. Also while I can understand Israeli government asking for his release, why the public? Is it that the public is controlled now by the israeli government to be protesting (something similar to Chinese controlled protests over Japan recently). Why are the israelis so attached to a spy that is more American than Israeli?
