Israeli rescue hostages...

…in 1976. If they could do it for their damned civilians in 1976, why couldnt they do it here inside lebanon, if the government is so pro israeli…???

They rescued several hundred damned hostages, but this time 2 pigs get abducted, & the entire nation was destroyed. Isnt it time, Muslims opened their eyes & see what the real hidden agenda really is…!

1976: Israelis rescue Entebbe hostages
Israeli commandos have rescued 100 hostages, mostly Israelis or Jews, held by pro-Palestinian hijackers at Entebbe airport in Uganda.

At about 0100 local time (2200GMT), Ugandan soldiers and the hijackers were taken completely by surprise when three Hercules transport planes landed after a 2,500-mile trip from Israel.
About 200 elite troops ran out and stormed the airport building.
During a 35-minute battle, 20 Ugandan soldiers and all seven hijackers died along with three hostages.

This operation will certainly be inscribed in the annals of military history, in legend and in national tradition.
Yitzhak Rabin, Israeli Prime Minister

The leader ofthe assault force, Lieutenant Colonel Yonatan Netanyahu, was also shot dead by a Ugandan sentry.
The Israelis destroyed 11 Russian-built MiG fighters, which amounted to a quarter of Uganda’s air force.

The surviving hostages were then flown to Israel with a stopover in Nairobi, Kenya, where some of the injured were treated by Israeli
doctors and at least two transferred to hospital there.
Speaking at the Israeli Knesset (parliament) this afternoon, Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin who ordered the raid said: “This operation will certainly be inscribed in the annals of military history, in legend and in national tradition.”

Air France plane seized
The crisis began on 27 June, when four militants seized an Air France flight, flying from Israel to Paris via Athens, with 250 people on board.
The hijackers - two from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and two from Germany’s Baader-Meinhof gang - diverted the plane to Entebbe, where it arrived on 28 June.

The hijackers - who were joined by three more colleagues - demanded the release of 53 militants held in jails in Israel and four other countries.

Uganda’s President and dictator Idi Amin arrived at the airport to give a speech in support of the PFLP and supplied the hijackers with extra troops and weapons.
On 1 July, the hijackers released a large number of hostages but continued to hold captive the remaining 100 passengers who were Israelis or Jews.
Those who were freed were flown to Paris and London.
Among them were British citizens George Good, a retired accountant and Tony Russell, a senior GLC official, who arrived in London on Friday.
The crew were offered the chance to go but chose to stay with the plane. The remaining hostages were transferred to the airport building. The hijackers then set a deadline for 1100GMT for their demands to be met or they would blow up the airliner and its passengers. But their plan was foiled by the dramatic Israeli raid.

Re: Israeli rescue hostages...

why..

they were looking for a reason to invade...just like they were waiting for a reason the last time, i guess people's memories are very short.

hizbis just gave them a reason..however unjustified it may be, to do just that.

as i said, israel can not ask for better freinds than hizbollah and hamas if it begged for them.

if ppl know the agenda, then why do idiotic things and become pawns in this game, why not be smarter about this

Re: Israeli rescue hostages...

Israel is using this to "Reestablish Deterence". In other words, issue a reminder not to Fukc with them. By setting back Lebanon 30 years, they are clearly accomplishing their goals. The kidnapping was simply the causus belli they needed to take away Irans' proxy toy Hizbullah.

Humilliating again isn't it? Perhaps the peaceful negociation of a two state solution might work out better next time.

Re: Israeli rescue hostages...

Sir jee, if that is the case, tau phir hum saara waqt kuch bhi na karein, aur haath par haath rakh kar sirf tamasha dekhain, while israeli pigs come, rape, murder, & destroy innocent lives...???

It was not Lebanon. Lebanon military has NO power. It was Hezbollah. By showing your barbarian Nazi nature, you are only making the Lebanese people more resolute.

Nazis can win only if they route Hezbollah. And Nazis have failed to do it.

Re: Israeli rescue hostages…

In the process they killed totally unconnected innocent civilians and all you can say is dont fukc with them. After spreading such terror where they don’t even blink when killing women and children who wouldn’t be afraid of such terrorists. I have yet to see a word of condemnation from thsoe who cry allgators tears by bucket load when innocent Israeli’s are killed. Pathetic really and hypocrisy of such human right lovers is exposed.

Re: Israeli rescue hostages...

See you think that the world must distinguish between Hizbullah and the Lebanese Government. Is Lebanon a sovereign country? If the people of Lebanon wish to avoid warlord misadventures, they should reign in these militias and disarm them.

Hizbullah gives Iran and Syria "plausible deniability". They look around with wide eyes, with feigned shock, and say, "It wasn't us". The Israelis have replied with a response that guarantees that any country that allows these proxies will be punished. The first response from the Lebanese will be a shocked Nationalistic repsonse where they defend Hizbullah. As they face 30 years of rebuilding rubble, they will eventually wonder how to be assured that they will not have to rebuild a lovely country for the trhird time in a century. No bank will lend money to rebuild until Hizbullah is gone. Tourists will not return to smoldering ruins. Thanks for the rubble Hizbullah. Eventually the people of Lebanon will realize that Hizbullah is incompatable with peace and prosperity. The Lebanese are not the Palestinians. They are a practical merchant society. They will make the right choices if allowed to....

Hizbullah miscalcualted. They thought that the Israeli response would be limited and confined to Southern Lebanon. Hizbullah screwed up.

Re: Israeli rescue hostages...

^ still no condemnation of the terrorist activities of IDF and you are desperately searching for excuses to justify the barbaric acts of the israelis. Continue, the more you people do that the more it exposes your double standards and hypocrisy. Sometime ago there were threads here where it was demanded that muslims should denounce the terrorists. Time for you people as well to stand up and codemn such barbaric acts of Israel. Oh wait I forgot Rice's plane will take atleast another two days two fuel up before she can fly.Tactics used before by american administrations to give the IDF terrorists more time to finish their mission fo killing innocent women and children.
