*A deadly attack has taken place off the coast of Gaza - as Israeli forces stormed at least one ship - attempting to break the blockade of Gaza.
Commandos lowered themselves from helicopters and onto the Mavi Marmara - the lead ship in a flotilla of six vessels which are carrying aid for the Palestinian territory.
We can confirm at least two people have been killed and more than 30 have been injured.
Israeli radio is reporting the death toll may be as high as 16 people.
Al Jazeera’s Jamal Elshayyal onboard the ship sent this report before communications were cut.
No need to get emotional. This is a purely Arab-Israeli issue. The Arabs needs to sort out their mess with Israel and the west. We have enough problems of our own to deal with -- and no one, none of your wonderful arab brothers, will ever have pity on you or the problems that your nation faces (which they, specifically the Saudis, have a role in generating).
Re: Israeli navy storms Gaza aid ship: 2 killed and 30 injured
^^ I just wish people all over the world have pity on Pakistan and Pakistanis when scores are dying in a conflict which we have no role in creating. That definitely includes the Arabs.

even if thats the case, you should show the same concern for innocent people killed there for peaceful activism that you wish they showed for us.
Re: Israeli navy storms Gaza aid ship: 2 killed and 30 injured
Fine, people died and its really bad. But 80 people died in Lahore and scores more are dying every day in Pakistan. Let's deal with that and leave this mess to our brotherly nations in the gulf, who have a real soft corner when it comes to issues which concern Pakistan. I hope the sarcasm is not lost.
Media whispers are saying he is safe, no other information available besides that. This coming from Interior Minister Rehman Malik a few hours ago.
Inna Lillahi wa inna ilaihee raajioon, may the martyrs rest in peace.
And for those who still believe this is just an Arab-Jewish matter should check their moral compass. If Pakistan comes under siege (God Forbid), would you accept other muslim nations and its’ people saying “It’s purely a Pakistani-xyz” matter?

That's a self fulfilling prophecy. By creating this Israel hysteria in the masses, support (moral and financial) is generated for the militant groups that are wreaking havoc now. I really don't know why our Arab "brothers" don't shed tears over Kashmir or loss of life elsewhere in Pakistan, Afghanistan or even their own in Iraq? Why aren't their masses so riled up as our own? I have YET to see protests or flag burnings on the streets of Cairo, Baghdad, Damascus, Amman or even Beirut which is in an open, democratic country. We should stick to our own objectives rather than fighting other's wars which we frankly don't even have the capacity to fight, all that nuclear bravado notwithstanding.

Just like there are Pakistanis like you who don't care about non-Pakistanis, there are Arabs who don't care about non-Arabs. Simple as that.
Alhamdulillah there are people on both sides who care enough for the ummah to fight oppression with jihad of the sword or jihad of words.
Afghanistan, Chechnya, Bosnia, Iraq are some recent examples where both Pakistanis and Arabs went to fight a physical jihad.
Yes Pakistanis are in Iraq fighting and Arabs as you know are in Afghanistan fighting, Alhamdulillah!

^AGREED!
Why is it about nations? it shoudl be abotu humanity! if you see something bad or injustice happening you should as a HUMAN BEING be there to help! esp for your muslim brothers.

That might be your take on it, but when I (personally) see my fellow mankind, and then more specifically a muslim, and then even more specifically a citizen of a friendly muslim nation getting butchered in International Waters, I feel regret. You may be able turn a blind eye, but you should remember this when it will be you in that position, there will be those who will a blind eye to you.
And they say "payback's a --------".
Frankly speaking, Isreal's antics are a self fulfilling prophecy. Every time it commits terror on innocent civilians with sheer force, the world realizes (once again) what a monster we as a world are harboring in the form of this ideology that is Zionism.

I'm sorry, sympathy is a two way street. Give me sympathy, and I'll give it back to you. I just can't keep having pity on the other side when the other side doesn't even recognize the legitimacy of the concerns and problems that my nation faces. Pakistanis have been totally brainwashed for the last 60 years into believing this broader concept of brotherhood that transcends races, but Arabs largely remain a very xenophobic group that is true to only their own causes. History is a testament to their xenophobia and they're harvesting fruits of the problems which they have themselves partaken in creating. That in turn, dampens my concerns for Palestinians.
Turks, on the other hand, have all my sympathy. But they're erring by pitying on their brotherly friends to the east.

oh well sh*t happens. I don't really care about what happens to the ship apart from the safety of the Pakistanis especially Talat Hussain who is a hero to me.
interesting to see a couple of gentlemen in this thread crying crocodile tears for the ummah whatever that sham is... and yet these same posters can't muster a single sentence that could be perceived as sympathy, empathy for the victims of terrorism in Pakistan. when it comes to terrorism in Pakistan, they have a million and one excuses ready to go. "oh they wouldn't have done it if we hadn't attacked them first". "oh it's a conspiracy by Jews and Hindus". "oh America did it". "oh the tribals are taking revenge for drone attacks". etc etc
we're going to cry for Palestine, Afghanistan and Iraq... forget about Swat... forget about Paktunkhawa. forget about Lahore. why worry about the hundreds that died in your own country two days ago when you can mourn a ship so far away.
well I say fk the Palestinians/Arabs. the Israelis can do what they want as long as they leave Talat and co alone. let the Arabs worry about their own. I will worry about my own.
