******TEHRAN – A 25-year-old woman hurled shoe at Israel’s ambassador to Sweden, Benny Dagan, as he was justifying the regime’s brutal war on Gaza at a lecture at Stockholm University on Wednesday afternoon. **

**** The shoe hit Dagan in the chest, local police said.
A 35-year-old man also threw books at the ambassador.
At the time, there were about 50 spectators in the lecture hall, which was also being guarded by police.
“Two of the spectators suddenly began throwing objects at the ambassador. It was a shoe and one or several books. One of the objects did hit the ambassador,” said police spokesperson Bengt Hellström to the TT news agency.
The two protesters, who were shouting insults, were escorted out of the room, according to police.
The throwing of shoe and books at the ambassador was a demonstration of people’‘s anger over Israel’'s 22-war on the Gaza Strip which killed about 1,300 people, mostly woman and children, and injured more than 5,000 others.
I don't really agree with this shoe thowing buisness even if it's for an Israeli politician.

sis .. when it comes to Amr bil Ma'roof Wa Nahi anil Munkar .. its always UNIVERSAL .. it dont matter who is common and who isnt ..
so therfore the hadith is for everyone ... no one is exempt ..to kia yah nahyi anil munkar mein shaamil nahi hai ? .. i think so ..:)
If I'm not mistaken I remember in Qura'n for "Nahi anil Munkir Amr bil maroof" it does not talk about on individual basis but nation [ummah] wise or group wise.

chalo .. if you keep letting off the individuals ..whats eventually gonna happen .. its gonna become a big group ..aur tab hi yeh hadith i mentioned above comes in play .. for the individuals ..
grassroot se koi buri cheese khatam karo ge to tab hi ooper se changing aaey gi k nahi .. agar ooper se just shake the leafs ..the truoble is still gonna be there init.
btw. whn it comes to quraan and hadith .. its always about something called siyaaq or sibaaq .. as to where one hadith is applicable and where one verse is in accordance to the hadith and vice versa ...
one hadith is universal but it may have several verses to back it up and same there may be one verse yet numerous ahadith to back upthe verse..
anyway, bottom line ..i c where yourr comin from too k its not good ..because its becoming a trend .. and not realli helpful as muslims are under the knife already aur ooper se yeh harkatein .. but in actual essence what muslims shud be doing is they arent .. and that is practising Islam the right way and propogating the right way where no one is offended yet you get your job done.
