Israel stoned a dog to death in Jerusalem

Hey guys i read this on news last week that a judge ordered the court in jerusalem to stone the dog because it condemned the dog because it had been disturbing the judge, they also mentioned that dogs are impure in judaism tradition. But before the stoning sentence was given, the dog escaped. A week later they have removed all the articles of dog stoning from sites like telegraph, bbc news, ynet etc and now we see that it was all a hoax. Was it really a hoax? Or did they cover it up?
