Hezbollah is a perfect example. It never send suicide bombers into Israel, but engaged Israel on the battlefield, used civilians killed by Israel to blemish it in the global media until Israelis themselves repulsed by its Army's behaviour and constant losses of men withdrew from Southern Lebanon in 2000....
Same strategy can be applied in occupied areas
The problem with Palestinian movement is their very own leadership. unlike Hezbullah, they are power hungry and ready to do anything to get into power.

Look what is going on, the weapons and bullets suppose to used against Isreali aggression is being used to kill each other. Al-Fateh and Hamas are fighting like animals and all for power reason. no body cares were the Palestinain cause is going.

What I am talking about is that these harshness which never makes headlines because it is all obscured by a Palestinian Suicide bomber blowing up 20 Israelis on a bus. Yes, a personal vendatte or a blood lust against Israelis after they killed your family is understandable but what benefit does it bring?
Is blowing up 20 Israelis on a bus really gonna end Israeli tanks rumbling in Palestinian streets or will exposing Israeli harshness in front of the world media while restraining yourself will?
Its fair game, but is it a means to an end?
What have the Palestinians achieved by sending suicide bombers? Have they liberated their land, have they ended Israeli occupation or have they in the world media shown themselves as nothing more terrorists and the Israelis as the victims when it should be the other way around?
Actually Hezbollah organized it self in 1984 and they are mostly Shia Lebanese who were caught in the cross fire between Israel and their Christian Lebanese allies vs Sunni Lebanese and their PLO allies.
Who said about joining Lebanon. I am talking about emulating Hezbollah tactics in West Bank and Gaza. Limiting attacks only on Israeli military and settlements. Not sending suicide bombers into Israel as it creates bad press for the Palestinians and using the media to show the brutality of the occupation and offering peace to the Israelis if they withdraw from the West Bank.
That is how you make peace and end the occupation.
And besides, its not just me sitting in Canada in my leather computer chair saying this but many people in Palestine as well including the very respected Marwan Bargouti.
He is not some Palestinian sellout but in an Israeli Jail. He is saying exactly what I am saying that current strategy of sending suicide bombers into Israel is not working and a different approach has to be tried.

Look at the tactics they used, the training, and containing their attacks on the Israeli Army and attacking Israel only when they attack Lebanon.

I agree, i won't help the cause, specially if the target are the civilians, like bombing buses and hotels will make them look bad and Isreali agression right.
If they are so eager for sucide attacks, then it should be conducted on Strategic facilities.

Wow, impressive video Abdali. I had not realised that Israel hasd almost lost the 1973 war in which it suffered massive losses, and that Hezbollah smashed the world’s leading technology in last years war. I have so much respect and admiration for Hezbollah. :k:

^^ Israel almost lost in the first 2 days after the initial shock, it encircled an entire Egyptian 3rd Army and advanced to 40km of Damascus and even shelled the suburbs of Damascus...
As for Hezbollah, sending tanks in a hilly mountainous area is bad planning.
Israel deserved to lose in 2006.
They indiscriminately bombed innocent Lebanese civilians, killing thousands.

Through use of soviet/russian technology, let's not forget that. They would be nothing without that.
I think this war really hit the nail in the coffin of the deadly devastation that could be caused by Soviet SAMs. I remember seeing a program on History Channel and it said that US really started working hard on stealth technology after the 73 debacle. Too bad, the logistic support that US was able to provide to the Israelis as well the overexcited? Egyptian military's overshot of their SAM coverage didn't decide the war in the Egyptian's favor.
Strategically speaking, the war wasn't that bad for Egypt as though it lost it, it gained respect of Israel and got Sinai back.

Abdali, the Hezbollah had the best Russian/Soviet Battle Tanks, Fighter Planes, APC’s, Artillery, Sattellite Technology, Helicopters, etc etc and Nuclear weapons.
Sorry! - they had none of that, but still beat Israel.

Long as we are talking about strategies and such what is the strategy of israel? To develop weapons,warfare and single handedly pi$$ the entire neighbourhood. if everybody can smell the stink chances are it is rotten.
