Here’s a story that I found burried at the end of a Reuters article. Seems that activists in Hamas and Fatah had a difference of opinion as to whose graffiti ought to be painted on the walls in Gaza. A gunfight broke out and a 12 year old boy and his father who were passing by were shot and killed.

While Palestinians have been murdered by their own as alleged collaborators in the past, I don’t recall reading reports of gun battles between Hamas and Fatah before. Could be a sign that the internal power struggle is getting more intense as we approach the promised January elections. Now the poor average Palestinian has to be on the lookout for stray bullets from both IDF and Hamas/Fatah.
