For a ICBM, GSLV is too advanced/big. Technologies learnt while desgining PSLV, Solid-Solid AGNI II and Solid-Liquid AGNI-I and AGNI’s re-entry stages are sufficient enuf to design a ICBM that can hit a point 12000 km away.
May be what we learnt from GSLV can be used/modified for a missile to go around the world once and then hit the target.

Success with GSLV has awakened/will awaken everybody to the fact that India is actually there. The baby has not only born, it is actually trying to walk now. In a few years, it can/will run. Fielding a small ICBM force is now limited only by a strong and willing government. (Not the ones like we had between 1974 and 1998). As Abdhul Kalam beautifully said, “We are ready, but it is not for the feeble minded”
Last but not the least, IMO, it is better if we don’t discuss these further, as lesser attention to this (the fact that we are there) will only be advantageous to India.
