Isn't that one mean lookin' bird

That’s a Karakoram-8 (K-8) of Zambian airforce. An aircraft produced jointly by China and Pakistan.

Saw this aircraft a few years ago on a 23rd March Parade... it's really amazing to see that another country is using aircraft made by Pakistan. Astonishing feat!

Congrats to all engineers who worked on this project.

Actually, Egypt is the country with the highest number of orders; close to eighty I think. However, those aircrafts will be manufactured in Egypt with transference of technology. Egypt also has the leverage of installing Allison engines; an American product.

Now, with removal of sanctions, this project should get a boost and Pakistan should seek more orders from the Middle Eastern countries that can be built locally. Although, for our own needs, we should use Ukranian engines, since I don't trust Americans even a bit.

Well I just read an old news clip that Zambian Airforce ordered and receive 8 of them too! Thanks for sharing anyway.

Yes the primary purpose was a trainer aircraft, but it has been refitted as a fighter/bomber. And unlike ur "dhagay wali gari", it doesn't use any dhaga dhaga.
