That some Muslims Scholars, Ulema, Sufia-e-Karam, Awuliya-e-Karam, Muftis, etc., getting onto our nerves because we just don’t like them, or we don’t like them because of how they do, or we don’t like them because of how they preach, or we don’t like them because of how they teach, etc. In other words we hate them because we don’t do what they do neither we want to see them doing something that which we didn’t like at all. In short because of differences.
Keeping Muslim a side, we have non-Muslims (Christians & Jews, etc.,) Scholars, Preachers, Pastors, Rabbais etc., who says 'Uzair is a son of God, Jesus is a son of God but this never ever getting onto our nerves. Isn’t it odd? Isn’t it strange?
**In case if you’re unable to grasp what I’m saying then answer the below questions, otherwise, share your thoughts on what is written above.
**
1- Why We don’t love Muslim?
2- Why We don’t hate non-Muslim?
the munafiq is a much worse species then the kaffir
What we see in a biddatti, for example for me it is menk and similar people, is the passion which they breathe is actually a fully charged anti sunni campaign.
promoting new sects is bidah and kufr, and protestantism is a new found sect in islam, then i see these people impregnating their listeners with wrong usul, it is worth my effort to try to highlight.
to appreciate what i am saying one needs a general grasp of both interpretations, for example know that those whose tawheed is influenced by ibn abdul wahab najdi will see traditional islam as mushrik. this puts a unbridgeable distance between us. So if, if, you have a position on these matters you will be sided on one side, committed, believing.
likewise on onto other issues. If, you have a position, and you believe in it, and then see the opposite of it being taught then we have another issue which we are at opposing corners. Like this, these newer protestant type movements have almost a completely different religion. On each issue we disagree
Like wise the horn of satan. well from my prospective has appeared on the heads of ‘‘muslims’’
so who would you hate the most the kaffir who rejects religion, or the supposed muslim who calls islam as mushrik? Lets say this situation was possible who would you hate most, remember shirk [mushrik] is the worst sin
What is odd about it? What is strange about it also?
If you do not like something and it is shoved in your face then it can really get on your nerves.
If you do not relate to religious views of someone in certain cases hearing listening to those views can be stressful. But if this listening is totally voluntary then only you can be blamed for your misery.
If you like/love someone why am I bound to love that someone?
What mirch said.
Moreover not liking is not equivalent to hating.
I stopped listening to islamic lectures long back, not because I disliked the lecturers, but because I no longer wanted to see the punishing side of my lord. I wanted to know the forgiving side of my lord. Al Raheem, Al kareem, Al ghaffar, Al mujeeb etc. Doesn’t mean I hate the lecturers out there. Yes, it gets to me how we instill fear from the lord in our children instead of love of the lord.
I don’t think it has anything to do with muslims or non muslims.
Agree to your stance 110%. I do not know why in religion use of negative motivation is thought to be a universal and powerful tool. The religious scholar who scares you the most is supposed to be most inspiring. Does it negative motivation work with everybody in every situation? I do not think so.
If look at the history of spread of any religion it was spread by those who were most pious and practicing , most humble and mild mannered.
Yes consequences of non confirming to religion should be spelled out but that should not be used as a motivator.
I once sat with a group of pious people they painted such a beautiful picture of jannat and spelled out so many easy ways to get in that I wanted to go to Jannat at that very moment.
Why must we constantly teach our faith through an atmosphere of punishment, regret and remorse?
Allah swt loves us more than our mothers ever could so why not focus on that love?
discussing points one by one. There are many hadith but I’ll quote a hadith from Book ‘Oppressions’ of Sahih Bukhari Hadith No. 622.
**Narrated 'Abdullah bin Umar: Allah’s Apostle said, "A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, so he should not oppress him, nor should he hand him over to an oppressor. Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim) brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection, and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of Resurrection . " **
If I extract only first underlined line “A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim”, I think there is no excuse is left over disliking another for whatever reason.
Secondly, when I read a verse from Holy Qur’an “Then is one to whom the evil of his deed has been made attractive so he considers it good [like one rightly guided]? For indeed, Allah sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. So do not let yourself perish over them in regret. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do.”
If I extract “So do not let yourself perish over them in regret”, this will make me think that our Prophet Muhammad was really concerned about His Ummah.
In brief, “A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim” and “So do not let yourself perish over them in regret” finally brought me at a point where I think we should love our Muslim brother regardless to what he do and don’t and we shall not get perish over-selves by getting aggressive or meek as the guidance is from Almighty Allah and not from our end.
And here I’ll concluded answer of my first question posted in post # 1.
