I wouldn't take it that way, sometimes the salons in Pak do overdo it with makeup and the girls look much older than they are.
I think it is a compliment and natural beauty is more appealing.

What the fiance means is that she is so ugly that no amount of make up would do her any good so its better she save the money and the time by not going to any make up artist. LMAO :D
