..amw, she is so cute!!
…I had a cat named smokie in 7th grade. Well, technically it wasn’t mine. It was my uncle’s. He needed somebody to babysit her while he was gone to Pak on vacation. So I thought, “hey, what could be better than this?” If I take care of her, tht will convince my ma that i am resposible enough to have a cat.
…so, it’s the end of the month, everything is going ok. And then, one day, I see her sitting in the window like as usual. I go to my room and after a little while my sister comes in and says: “boa, boa, I saw smokie flying down. She is so cool” (notice, we live on the sixth floor). First, I was like oh ok but then when everything made sense that she fell out of the window (trying to catch a bird), I just ran downstairs barefoot.
…while, going down..all i could think was that she was going to run away and my uncle was going to blame me for losing his cat. (The idea of her getting hurt or dead didn’t even occur to me). Boy, I brusted out into tears when I saw her bleeding to death.
…but, she is ok now. I mean we took her to the Vet. Poor thing had to stay bandages for so long and she couldn’t move and became fat. Lucky thing survived.
P.S: My babysitting services, for cats, are still open if anybody needs a babysitter. lol (it wasn’t funny back then, believe me!)
