Just registered for the conference, hotel and airfare. Phewww.
Now my only concern…The hotel I booked at had rooms for 2nd, 3rd, 4th which I took. When do u normally have to vacate the room? I think it should be by noon on the 5th right? It better be or I will be on the streets on the night of the 4th thru the next morning 
What to do???

I think you have to check out by midday on the 5th, you should have asked the hotel people when you called them. :p

Femme, hotel stays aren't so complicated. You have a check-in date (usually after 3 pm but can check in early in the day if they have rooms available) and check-out date (usually by noon or later upon request).

Thank you FG :) I am flying in early early morning. Thats the only flight they had the number of seats I needed available. I will be in ur city at 7:00am :D They better have the room available. Varna?

FF, usually if they do have a room available they will give you one even though the normal check-in time is 3 in the afternoon. But usually in summer, they don't have rooms available. It will be good if you call 'em from the airport. Even if you have a few rooms reserved and they have only one available, get it, so you can put your stuff in. Otherwise, airports always have lockers that you can use.

If ISNA sucks, me and Femme are taking off into the windy city and going siteseeing. That was a pre-determined before she booked and before I agreed to go.
I was looking on the ISNA website for a list of speakers who will be at the conference this year. Ever since Fayz mentioned Hamza Yusuf, I've been reading some material on him online and I would love to hear him live. Does anybody know if he will be at ISNA this year? I know he's been there in the past.

ISNA is alright. Every year educated speakers come and offer their useless insight. Some speakers are worth listening to.
And I don't understand the hoopla behind the teenager scene. This is America. Kids brought up here will tend to exhibit qualities that are the product of American culture. You're asking too much if you expect the dudes to sit on one side of the aisle, and to not communicate with the "unveiled" babes. For many of them, its just a forum to meet other muslims. I think alot of the complaints have been over-exaggerated.
