i am not certain whether this would be of much interest but just passing along. ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) has a list of several conferences slated for 2003; they have sent out the call for abstracts regarding a diverse range of issues. i think the deadlines fall between January to March 2003. Quite a range of topics. If your paper is accepted, you would be invited to present your paper at the conference so this might be of more interest to those Guppies who actually reside in Chicago or are able to visit there during the time of the conference.
