Ismaili peoples in the house

I have tons of ismaili friends, african and pakistani. I am especially impressed by the excellent level of brotherhood and close-knit community standards they display.

There is an ismaili event called Khushali. What is the story behind that? And the importance and significance? What I have observed over the years is Khushali surpasses the 2 regular Eids in terms of the level of ‘joy’ people display on that day. But that is just something i have observed, i might be wrong.

So? What is it all about?

Ismailies

Ismailies Tariqa is based on Imam. Present Imam is Prince Karim Aga Khan. He claims to be direct decendent of Prophet Mommed. 13th of December is brithday of Aga Khan which is Celeberet by more than 20 million Ismailies around world, i.e Khusali a gujrati word. another Khusali is 11th of July when Prince Karim Aga Khan become Imam.

If you wish to participate, do so in a mature way.
