The Syrian revolution has been hijacked by Islamist fundamentals who want to impose their brand of Islam on everyone else. That is why there is huge reluctance on part of the US and EU to armed the rebels b/c we simply do not know who they rebels are anymore. And, as Russia, Iran & Hizbullah continue to support Assad’s regime, you will seen territorial gains made by rebels to be reversed. We’re already seeing that, and thanks to international jihadis the Syrians people may have 2nd thought about their support of these murderers.
