Yes, the politicians have done a crap job, but don't let the army escape what they have done! The army has ruled Pak for half its existence, the politicians have ruled for half, they are BOTH to blame!
As for Pak soldiers being heros for their country, everyone who has grown up in Pak (especially around the age when they and their peers make a career choice) know that the vast majority of people join the Army not because they want to be professional soldiers defending their country, but because of the money and power!

about pak army's killing of bangalis, sindhis and balouchis.... it was not one sided ... they all were wars , in which both sides killed (its' too sad people kill to prove and show that killing is wrong).
You can't just blame PAk army, in all those wars blood shed and violence was both sided. and if army wouldnt have oppressed these civil wars we would have lost sindh and balouchistan also.

I don't care what anyone says. I have seen brave men and fine officers from all parts of the country serving thier regiments with honour.
We all feel ashamed of our army's less than perfect past but we are also very proud of the fine examples of courage and heroism that I have had the privelege of witnessing frequently.
Looking at these posts and then looking at the officers and soldiers especially from Sindh and Balochistan, I am proud to say Mr. Real Deal, that today's defense forces are very very different. Like I said before, the past is quite unfortunate but the present is very different.
