Islamic rulings I just can't get my head around..

So this is not a bashing thread.. There are certain things tho that I have trouble accepting or getting my head around.. When I ask people I usually just get told ‘don’t over think’ which just frustrates me even more :smack:

Maybe someone here can help me understand some of the issues that have been bothering me..

  • In the Maliki fiqh is it true that a Muslim girl can be be married off without her consent.. How can that ever be justified???

  • The rules of inheritance (this I sort of understand but it still niggles at me.. what if a woman is NOT being looked after by her guardian? Are there any safeguards in place?)

There is more but am tired so I’ll come bk and add later..
