If you call a donkey a horse, it still remains a donkey.
A country that calls itself Islamic Republic does not represent Islam by default. And forcing women to wear hijaab is a very childish view of how or what an islamic country should be!
And please do not give examples of Saudi Arabia. It is more un-islamic than, say, United States. Forget the non-Saudis who have virtually no basic rights, even the native Saudis live under a total dictatorial government.
Even a Waaiz can not deliver a sermon beyond officially approved guidelines in Saudi arabia. Do not present this country as an example of an islamic state. PLEASE!!!
As for Pakistan, it is a thoroughly corrupt state. It used to be that the leaders were influenced by the west but the common man held Islam dear to his heart. Not any more. Money is everything these days.
Hmmmm…wearing hijabs is PART of islam, not just islam, we should work on making peoples faith stronger so they dont feel ashamed or scared to do what islam says. Pakistan was based and made as an islamic state NOT a republic or democratic, later it TRIED to become one, because of western influence to its leaders…
What is islam really? Islam is a kind of decipline, doing and being able to do what allah says in quran, and what mohammad has thought us… we humans just dont want to be deciplined or leave our favorite tv show when its namaz time.
Paksitan is not an islamic state...Its just another third world country, with primitive social structure.
BTW...it was never meant to be an Islamic state...It was meant to be a "Secular Democratic State....."
pakistan is not islamic only in name.
rich and corrupt politicians use religen
to divert the attention of poor people
look at the land ditribution income distribution it is still feudalistic
society.
Is anyone aware of a true Islamic state?
Islamic state guarantees the following:
1. Justice to all regardless of cast, color, creed, religion or social status
2. Tolerance towards its inhabitants
3. Equal rights to all its citizens
4. Elected representatives
Does Pakistan fulfill any of the above criteria? The answer is no, which makes it a non-islamic state. Pakistan is as Islamic as the US is a Christian state. We pay only lip service to Islam. If Islam was followed to the true spirit we would not be the laughing stock of the world today that views us as a fanatic, backward and fundamentalist country.
