Any nation that was destroyed was the one where a Rasool was sent. Rasool gets never killed.

Hz. Nooh:as:, Hazrat Shoaib:as:, Hz. Loot:as:, and all others who were “appointed” towards a nation were Rasool…

There are four major books to 4 major Rasool .. but there were other Sahaaif given to other Rasools also.

That’s my understanding…

This definition is kind of flawed because the people of Musa alaihisalaam were not destroyed but he still was a rasool.
From what I know, a Rasool is a Nabee but a Nabee is not necessarily a Rasool. And a Rasool is one who was given a new Shariah (Laws), and a Nabee is one who was told to reapply and reintroduce the previous Rasool’s laws.
Example, Musa alaihisalaam and Harun alaihisalaam. Musa was a Rasool and Harun was a Nabee and both were brothers and both were sent to the same nation at the same time.

And the answer to Question 5 is the People of Noah.

I do not find the definition to be flawed because Musaa:as: was Nabi to Bani Israel and Rasool to Firoun.. Qibties… They were destroyed… Those specific words are used in Quran.

There are a number of views on this issue, one of which is that of Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him):
“A Prophet (Nabi) is one to whom Allaah reveals (yanbi’uhu) something, and he passes on what Allaah has reveals to him. If he is sent with that to those who go against the commandments of Allaah, to convey a message from Allaah to them, then he is a Messenger. But if he follows a sharee’ah that came before him, and is not himself sent to anyone to convey the message from Allaah to them, then he is a Prophet and not a Messenger…” (al-Nubuwwaat, p.255). Other scholars add different details, but these are the most important of them. And Allaah knows best.
