Narrated Sa'id bin Al-Musaiyab:
'Umar came to the Mosque while Hassan was reciting a poem. ('Umar disapproved of that). On that Hassan said, "I used to recite poetry in this very Mosque in the presence of one (i.e. the Prophet ) who was better than you." Then he turned towards Abu Huraira and said (to him), "I ask you by Allah, did you hear Allah's Apostle saying (to me), "Retort on my behalf. O Allah! Support him (i.e. Hassan) with the Holy Spirit?" Abu Huraira said, "Yes."
It was narrated that Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri (RA) said: “While we were travelling with the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) in Al-Arj, we were met by a poet who was reciting poetry. The Prophet (PBUH) said: ‘Catch the devil’ or ‘Restrain the devil’ – ‘If the belly of a man were to be filled with pus, that would be better for him than being filled with poetry.”(Hadith No. 5895 (2259), Book of Poetry, Sahih Muslim, Vol. 6).
There is a hadith where Allah’s Messenger asked one of the Sahabisto use his poetry against the disbelievers. Narrated Al-Bara’ (RA): The Prophet said to Hassan bin Thabit (RA), “Lampoon them (the pagans etc.) in your poetry, and Jibril (AS) is with you.”Book of Al-Adab, Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 8: Hadith No. 6153
Narrated Ubai bin Kaab: Allah’s Messenger said, “Some poetry contains wisdom.”Book of Al-Adab, Sahih Bukhari,Vol. 8:6145
Three exceptions have been clearly identified where poetry is allowed

Due to Eid ul Fitr, we’ll take a break for few days and will resume from Saturday 2nd of August 2014. Those who haven’t answered questions due to any reason may answer it now. We’ll count that
Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are the deaf and dumb who do not use reason. [8;22]
In this verse Allah Almighty calls the person who do not respond to the truth as deaf, and the person who do not understand and utter the truth as dumb and refers to them as people who do not understand because they do not have sound minds that think about the outcome of their actions. Their minds are limited to thoughts about this world and its short-term pleasures.

And recite to them, [O Muhammad], the news of him to whom we gave [knowledge of] Our signs, but he detached himself from them; so Satan pursued him, and he became of the deviators. (175) And if We had willed, we could have elevated him thereby, but he adhered [instead] to the earth and followed his own desire. So his example is like that of the dog: if you chase him, he pants, or if you leave him, he [still] pants. That is the example of the people who denied Our signs. So relate the stories that perhaps they will give thought. (176)surah Al A’raf

** The Jews say, "Ezra is the son of Allah "; and the Christians say, “The Messiah is the son of Allah.” That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?**(30) **
**Surah At-Tawba
**they were prophets (peace be upon them)
Answer 34:
**And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. Those are like livestock; rather, they are more astray. It is they who are the heedless. (179)

**
It is not for the Prophet and those who have believed to ask forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they were relatives, after it has become clear to them that they are companions of Hellfire. (113) And the request of forgiveness of Abraham for his father was only because of a promise he had made to him. But when it became apparent to Abraham that his father was an enemy to Allah, he disassociated himself from him. Indeed was Abraham compassionate and patient. **(114)
And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them. And leave [the company of] those who practice deviation concerning His names. They will be recompensed for what they have been doing.(180) SURAH AL A’RAF
