Is it Islamic to believe in ghosts?

Allah SWT created Ghosts that is Jinn, and they are very much existing as per Quran. There are Muslim jinns and kafir jinns, good jinns and evil jinns.
But one thing which is very common in indopak i.e people believe in ghosts of humans, for example badrooh (rooh of a dead man/woman) that is wrong.
