Islamic Medical Manuscripts

**This** is an amazing website. It’s part of this vast database at the US-based National Library of Medicine (Maryland); “Islamic Medical Manuscripts” is one of their sub-components. They have medical Islamic documents, dating from the 600s onwards; most of the documents don’t have translations yet but i think they are currently working on providing translation. Most provide large-scale images of the original documents so if there is any Guppy out there who has a knowledge of classical Arabic, you could “easily” read it. The website gives detailed info on the author’s biography, time it was written, etc.

This website breaks it down into categories, such as “Alchemy”, “Dietetics and Regimen”, “Medical Monographs”, “Medical Therapeutics”, and “Veterinary Medicine”. These are just a few of the categories, though, there are several several more.

Just wanted to share this link, hope someone finds this useful :clown:
