Like scientists found a valley of rock on moon which proves the miracle of splitting of moon.
Or prediction of 9/11 in Quran.
Or Niel Armstrong converted to Islam etc etc.
Who starts them ? and why ?
Any new hoax you came across ?

Did you hear the one about Michael Jackson converting to Islam ?
And of course, the daily sms messages circulated (atleast in Pakistan they are, dont know about other countries), which quote a random verse from the Quran and then state "something bad will happen to you if you don't forward this message to so and so number of people (always more than 10) in so and so number of hours".
Some of these messages are even desperate enough to threaten you with death.
Re: Islamic hoaxes
Neil Armstrong converted after hearing azaan on moon.
Re: Islamic hoaxes

Re: Islamic hoaxes
Not really "Islamic" but in Pakistan during Ziaul Haq's time PTV showed clip as if UN (I think) meeting started with recitation of Quran.
Re: Islamic hoaxes
Youtube is full of Jin Videos and Mout ka farishta Qabza karoing life of a soccer player in front of stadium full of people
Re: Islamic hoaxes
That is soooo funny. The other day we were having a good laugh at the rumours that poor old Neal Armstrong converted without his even realising it, and so did Micheal.
So Armstrong heard the adhaan on the moon? I don't believe at all that he even went to the moon, thats another conspiracy theory in its own right, but far more believable.
Neil Armstrong converted after hearing azaan on moon.
i came across this thing on omar sharif stage show. An actor like of his stature , believing and spreading such thing was disappointing.

There was one where it was claimed that someone saw the Prophet (SAW) in a dream, and then a message supposedly written and passed around by email. It promised rewards for people who passed it on and said that harm would come to those who don't.

Mirch jee... ap kia shandar dhagay chortay hain. I'm u're very very tight pankha by now :)
I think Ikhbaray jahan, and lame ape papers like "jang" r responsible for such behooda rumours.
But they r sometimes very faidamand in prompting one to read and investigate the truth afterall... then again they want to sell too...
