Re: Islamic Gigz
Can be, I’ve seen women on PTV coated in makeup, looking hot as ever with half their head, neck and cleavage and arms uncovered singing “Ae Ishqe Nabi…” ![]()
Islam has already shown us ways of worship, showing our love for God and how to promote it, something tells me people who convert to Islam through music wont be the sincerest of Muslims, Islam should only be accepted through conviction that it is the only Haq, the truth, that is true Iman, Islam is not based on emotion.
The tune of the hymns and chants of the Kuffaar are more well composed and more pleasing to the Nafs than any musical cheesy Nasheed I’ve heard but those religions don’t seem to manage to hold onto any believers let alone educate and convert others, 95+ of ‘native’ British people would be agnostic or atheist and only Christian by name, my friends find church gay and boring despite their families going to all these Hip Hop and Rock type churches.
Music is pleasing to the Nafs and soothing to our animal instincts but it rusts the Qalb and weakens our spiritual energies which connect us to God, people who have introduced music into their religion eventually get so engrossed in this pleasure of the Nafs that they come off the real Ibaadaat (which is what really soothes and cleanses the heart and strengthens Imaan) and start finding it boring because their Qalb has become numb, this has happened with the people of the book, the Meccan pagans who were once followers of Abraham and Ishmael but eventually they turned prayer into mere singing and clapping in the Sacred Sanctuary, same has happened in parts of Pakistan where people will go to Qawwali gatherings with great devotion but they don’t know of Namaaz, Roza, Quraan, Zikr etc.
I know the Modern Munafiq Morons are not going to agree with me but music is Haraam in traditional Islam anyway, I’m not saying I don’t listen to it but at least keep sin from mixing into religion.
They were clapping their hands and doing that wave thing like they were in a Queen concert, looked worse than the people on the God Channel.
