Hmm..he might be referring to “do unto others as they do unto you”, which is the Golden Rule…not quite the gold standard. But this statement is very conceptual and is not realistically applicable to economics as a hard fast rule (due to difference in supply-demand and products or services)..but more as a moral decision making framework. But maybe it refers to something else
