In the Prophet’s :saw: days what sort of flags did the Muslims have?
Like for military etc.
Also what will be the flags which Imam Mahdi’s army carry be like?
And the black flag of the Hizb ut-Tahreer, does this have basis in Ahadeeth?

I think that "Black Flag" or "Black Turban" was mentioned as a "sign" of Imam Mehdi AH's army, so you'll see many carrying black flag or wearing black turban.

Oh rite...
The Shahadah on it, is that also mentioned in Ahadeeth?
Does the Al-Qaeda flag also have the Kalima on it?
I once read somehwere that the Prophet (sallallaho alayhe wassallam) once had a flag on which it said something along the lines of "Victory is near with the help of Allah..."
can someone shed some light on that... please...
There are 2 flags of the Islamic state which has evidence from seerah.
The first is called Al-Liwaa and serves as the sign for the leader of the Muslim army and as the flag of the Islamic State. The Liwaa of the Messenger was a piece of white cloth with the words "La Illaha Illa Allah Muhammadur Rasul Allah" written across it.
The second Ar-Raya and is used by the Muslim army. It is also called the flag of jihad, and is carried into battle. The Raya of the Messenger was a piece of black wool with the words "La Illaha Illah Allah Muhammadur Rasul Allah" written across it.
Therefore, the Liwaa is a white flag with black inscription, and the Raya is a black flag with white inscription.
Ibn Abbas (ra) narrated that the Raya of the Messenger was black and his Liwaa was white. During the battle of Mu'atah the Messenger was delivering a Khutbah in Medinah. The Messenger was telling the Muslims about what was happening in the battlefield. He informed them Zayd (ra) was killed and Ja'far took over the Raya (black flag) from him, then Ja'far (ra) himself was killed, so Abdullah Ibn Ruwahah (ra) took over the Raya (black flag). Al-Barra'a Ibnu Azeb (ra) was asked about the Messenger's Raya so he said: "It was black, had four corners and was made of wool." These and other ahadith clearly prove that Muhammad had designated a flag for his Ummah.
r the countries (islamic states) with more black color in their flags more islamic than others????
sorry, spelling mistake :)

Color of flags does'nt make your more islamic its the system you implement and your actions that you are judged by.
