A short question from a very ignorant person. Awhile back I was talking to someone from here via an instant message program, and when I brought up ham as a favourite dish, they sort of got offended and told me off (not in an aggressive way or anything). So I’m wondering, did i offend some Islamic sensibility regarding ham?

You can buy halal salami and sausages in Muslim shops.

Thanks but I had no idea until now it was forbidden. I mean I've lived around pigs my whole life, had one as a pet once, and eat them a lot.
Let me get this correct: You have a Pakistani mom. You are planning to marry some cousin back in Pakistan…and yet you dont have any awareness of Pakistani or Muslim culture.

^because its all a load of lies, even i was shocked to read that if this person has a pakistani mom n stepdad n has no clue of our religion reads the bible not the Quran her mom cooks her ham wen she asks fr it n well u can go figure out the rest fr urself
